ABOUT CAMP DON GROM

ABOUT CAMP

Camp Don Grom is an outdoor mountain bike camp based in the heart of Toronto.  We offer a fun, social and safe environment for kids to play and grow in the outdoors.

We engage and inspire kids who love riding bikes and are looking to expand their riding skills. Mountain bike rentals available for 50$/week.

For kids 7-12 years old and intro camp for Mini Groms (5-6 years old).

In order to create a fun and safe environment for all, we ask that all Don Grom Campers feel confident riding a bike, are comfortable using brakes and are able to steer competently before coming to camp. Please see Biking Levels for more details.

A DAY AT CAMP DON GROM

Kids will spend their summer days outside in nature, getting dirty and having a blast navigating the trails in Toronto’s Don Valley by mountain bike.

Our camp days offer a great variety of on and off bike activities. Campers will learn to ride on terrain suited to their skill level, develop bike handling skills, learn how to navigate roots and rocks, learn about bike and trail etiquette and basic bike maintenance. Days will also include arts & crafts, outdoor sports and exploring the local wildlife. Kids will thrive in our fun-filled summer days!

Our program is structured to flexibly adapt to the weather, group energy level and needs so that each camper gets the most out of each day.

BIKING LEVELS

Camp Don Grom aims to offer programming for a wide range of abilities and to increase access to the sport we love. Whether you are new to mountain biking or have experience on the trails, we’ve got something for you.

On the first day of Camp, Don Grom Campers will be assigned to one of 3 riding levels based on their comfort, experience and goals.
